As President of Te Kāhui Whaihanga/NZIA for the past two years, I have flown up to Auckland and been JUST SO HAPPY to see Robert waiting there for a few of us or just me. Often I have left Wellington really early in the morning, and sometimes the flights, coming out of Wellington, can be a bit…. bumpy. So when I get to Auckland and see Robert waiting - I am so grateful!
He is fun, a great driver, was involved in the construction industry, and all of those skills and knowledge make for a fun trip into Auckland.
He also helped out recently and with respect on a family death, he bought humanity and kindness to the day. Robert is how we all should be!
